Al-Zahraa University for women, faculty of Education, Department of Arabic Language, conducted a scientific workshop entitled mind maps and teaching skills, in cooperation with the Department of Continuous Education. The workshop took place at Al-Kawthar Center in the main building of the University in the presence of teaching and administrative staff. The workshop was presented by University Lect.Dr. Amal Abdul Rahim Juma'a.
Moreover, Dr. Amal said” Mind maps are expression means of personal points of view about the realm of ideas and schemes rather than mere words”. She also added that graphs, images and colors used to express ideas, in addition to being effective tools for condensing and processing information, developing action plans and starting new projects”.
The presenter also explained “the workshop included the definition of mind maps, the importance of their uses and function in learning and administrative process and how to apply them in the field of work, as well as the theoretical and practical sides”.
