The Quality Assurance Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women concluded the training workshop that it held to advance University’s female teaching and administrative staff skills, in etiquette and general protocol.
Professor Hawra Al-Hanoun presented the workshop. She explained in an interview with the University Media that the training spanned over two lectures. The first was conducted to define etiquette and the relationship between Islam and etiquette.
In addition, she managed to shed light on such issues as the etiquette of formal & social dealings and good behavior, in courtesy, handshaking, talking, mistakes and apologies, smoking, respecting appointments with guests, as well as other concepts. It is noteworthy, that these concepts are necessary for daily cooperation as well as assigned daily tasks completion. On the other hand, Lect. Dr. Farah Al-Fadhli, presented the second lecture which included service staff training in such various dexterity as developing personal skills, safety, and general health, in addition to dealing with chemicals.
