Scientific Workshop on Educational Counseling at Al-Zahraa University
In an effort to provide workers in the units and divisions of guidance and educational and psychological counseling with the most important information that contributes to playing an effective role in dealing with students, the Continuing Education Department at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls, in cooperation with Kut University College, held a scientific workshop entitled: (Educational Guidance), presented by: Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Ghanem Sakhi, on Saturday 3/11/2023, at the Al-Kawthar Center for Continuing Education.
The workshop dealt with important topics, including: the role of the counselor and mentor and his proximity to students and his interaction with them, knowing the obstacles and problems he suffers from and striving to solve them by monitoring negative phenomena and developing preventive programs in order to limit them and enhance positive behavioral phenomena.
For this reason, it is necessary to read about psychology in general and know its fields, branches and the most important known schools in it, in addition to the role of the subconscious in shaping the individual's personality, and psychological disorders resulting from some needs that he cannot meet or satisfy, and therefore some behaviors appear on him, including anxiety and imbalance.
