Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a workshop entitled "Laboratory Coding" presented by Eng. Hoda Zuhair Ali for officials of laboratory accreditation units in colleges, supervisors, officials and workers in laboratories and research centers on 11/13/2024 in Al-Kawthar Hall. The workshop included the mechanism for coding laboratories in universities according to the book issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which is several categories, including: the field of the laboratory, the category of the precise specialization of the laboratory, the nature of the laboratory's work, and the danger of the laboratory, in addition to controlling the degree of danger. The workshop is part of a series of workshops held by the university to develop and strive to raise the scientific level of its cadres. Read more

Continuous Educational Center at Al-Zahraa University for Women, conducted recently an educational workshop entitled “Raising Awareness & Character-Building Skills Workshop for Selected Groups”. The workshop was also organized in cooperation with Youth Welfare Center, Department of Development and Social Rehabilitation of Youth affiliated with Holy Shrine of Al-Imam Hussein. Furthermore, Engineer Ahmed Noor Al-Deen Shams Al-Deen presented the event, which was intended to shed light on the importance of conscious selected groups, embodied by educated categories. The aforementioned event which took place on Saturday 2024/11/16, demonstrated the need to nurture and activate the role of these groups, as well as enhance status thereof. Additionally, the workshop also clarified the role of these groups in knowledge advancement, awareness conduct and guidance suited to the challenges of the times. It is noteworthy that this workshop dovetails a string of similar events that the University aspires to conduct to broaden awareness horizons among students in various aspects of knowledge and to provide them with necessary skills to succeed in society. Under the aegis of President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Al-Zahraa Research Center for Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted a training course entitled “Course on Medicinal Plants Active Chemical Components Extraction and Measurement Methods via Modern and Advanced Devices”. The aforementioned event, held in cooperation with Continuous Educational Center, was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salam Ahmed Al-Azzawi, tutor at Pharmacy Faculty/Karbala University. This three-day course took place at Al-Kawthar Continuous Educational Center in conjunction with Organic Synthesis and Medical Drugs Laboratory affiliated to the University's Research Center as from Saturday to Monday (14_16/9/2024).
