The Continuing Education Department at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls, in cooperation with Kut University College, held a scientific workshop entitled: (Educational Statistics and Learning Theories), presented by: Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Ghanem Sakhi, on Saturday 3/18/2023, in the English Language Department Hall. The workshop was attended by a group of teaching staff and trainers at the university. The workshop included a presentation of the most important theories based on explaining learning processes, namely the hypothesis theory, psychoanalysis, the behavioral school, the field school, and the Skinner school. As for statistics, it is one of the branches of applied mathematics and is divided into two types: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, in addition to integrating theories with educational statistics, which works to help the professor understand the level of his students and conduct accurate examinations. Scientific Workshop on Educational Counseling at Al-Zahraa University

In an effort to provide workers in the units and divisions of guidance and educational and psychological counseling with the most important information that contributes to playing an effective role in dealing with students, the Continuing Education Department at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls, in cooperation with Kut University College, held a scientific workshop entitled: (Educational Guidance), presented by: Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussein Ghanem Sakhi, on Saturday 3/11/2023, at the Al-Kawthar Center for Continuing Education. The workshop dealt with important topics, including: the role of the counselor and mentor and his proximity to students and his interaction with them, knowing the obstacles and problems he suffers from and striving to solve them by monitoring negative phenomena and developing preventive programs in order to limit them and enhance positive behavioral phenomena. For this reason, it is necessary to read about psychology in general and know its fields, branches and the most important known schools in it, in addition to the role of the subconscious in shaping the individual's personality, and psychological disorders resulting from some needs that he cannot meet or satisfy, and therefore some behaviors appear on him, including anxiety and imbalance. Continuous Education Department Holds Workshop on Managing Electronic System for University Exams

The Continuing Education Department at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Girls held a scientific workshop entitled: (Managing the Electronic System for University Examinations), presented by: Prof. Dr. Awad Kazim Al-Khalidi / Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), on Sunday 1/29/2023, at 12 noon, at Al-Kawthar Center for Continuing Education. The workshop was attended by assistant deans, heads of scientific departments, and members of the examination committees at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her). The workshop included an introduction to the special semester and annual examination management program for all colleges in the university and how to convert work to electronic form such as setting grades, comparison, etc. Read more
