Raising Awareness & Character-Building Skills Workshop for Selected Groups

Continuous Educational Center at Al-Zahraa University for Women, conducted recently an educational workshop entitled “Raising Awareness & Character-Building Skills Workshop for Selected Groups”. The workshop was also organized in cooperation with Youth Welfare Center, Department of Development and Social Rehabilitation of Youth affiliated with Holy Shrine of Al-Imam Hussein. Furthermore, Engineer Ahmed Noor Al-Deen Shams Al-Deen presented the event, which was intended to shed light on the importance of conscious selected groups, embodied by educated categories. The aforementioned event which took place on Saturday 2024/11/16, demonstrated the need to nurture and activate the role of these groups, as well as enhance status thereof. Additionally, the workshop also clarified the role of these groups in knowledge advancement, awareness conduct and guidance suited to the challenges of the times. It is noteworthy that this workshop dovetails a string of similar events that the University aspires to conduct to broaden awareness horizons among students in various aspects of knowledge and to provide them with necessary skills to succeed in society. Course on Medicinal Plants Active Chemical Components Extraction and Measurement Methods via Modern and Advanced Devices

Under the aegis of President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Al-Zahraa Research Center for Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted a training course entitled “Course on Medicinal Plants Active Chemical Components Extraction and Measurement Methods via Modern and Advanced Devices”. The aforementioned event, held in cooperation with Continuous Educational Center, was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salam Ahmed Al-Azzawi, tutor at Pharmacy Faculty/Karbala University. This three-day course took place at Al-Kawthar Continuous Educational Center in conjunction with Organic Synthesis and Medical Drugs Laboratory affiliated to the University's Research Center as from Saturday to Monday (14_16/9/2024). Young IT Programmer: Course for Children (Future Makers) at Al-Zahraa University for Women

In an effort to educate young people on the language of electronic software The Faculty of Education at Al-Zahraa University for women in cooperation with the Continuous Education Center, held a course entitled “The Young Programmer” over a period of five days on 7/9/2024 at the hall of the faculty of education. Asst.Lect.Fatima Samir Hassan, Director of Electronic Administration at the faculty of Education presented the course. At the end of the course, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of the University expressed wholeheartedly her earnest thanks and appreciation to the supervisor of the course. She also handed out partaking certificates to the participating children, motivating them to concentrate on science and pay respect to their teachers. These endeavors are made to build a promising generation for the future of science in Iraq. Read more
